Mission Statement
We are the Jaws-of-Life for the three car pile-up of stalled inspirational

Ryder Jon Piotrs is dedicated to the dissemination of art to all peoples. We are dedicated to the public outreach of arts to students and groups who need stimulation through ingenuity. We know our patrons will be invigorated by the non-traditional options that are possible when artists and creatives join together to pursue an idea.

We know our passion is contagious and that there is no limit. We know art can heal and inspire. With notions of accessibility to a fine arts experience and the promotion of alternative avenues we share our energy and passion with the people we are lucky enough to meet. As we roll into the streets of new communities we can create an ongoing dialogue of dreams and growth that will continue even after we are gone.

Concept  Innovation by Limitation
The creative aspect of the mobile gallery evolves from limitations or restrictions that are overcome using ingenuity.
The mobile gallery started as speculation and has been developed into a reality. The act of creation, whether it is an idea or an object, fuels a desire to engage in the world. The mobile gallery serves as a format for presenting new ideas to the general public. On a conceptual level, the mobile gallery functions as a piece of art.

A performance of transformation ensues as the typical, a truck, is transformed into the atypical, a mobile arts venue. The truck-as-gallery has the ability to create dialogue merging the viewer with the unexpected. The presentation of art in an alternative venue creates a level of excitement not often associated with the established art system. Through innovation we have the ability to bypass all perceived boundaries. The ability to educate with the arts and involve the public is developed through conversation, a joining of forces, and a bit of creative thinking.

About Us
The Ryder Jon Piotrs Nomadic Gallery is a 24 foot Ryder truck rented and then converted into a sophisticated white-walled gallery space.Master minds of the endeavor are Ryder Richards, Jonathan Whitfill, & Piotr Chizinski.

We are a gallery director and high school teacher who have joined forces with a world traveler looking to fortune cookies for life advice. The meshing of minds over beers developed into several ideas that pursue a purpose larger than the petty concerns of making money.

We started in Lubbock, Texas. Our isolated geographical location lent itself to creative problem solving. The Nomadic Gallery is our solution as a vehicle and venue for dialogue, growth, and promotion.
As the logo on the Ryder truck so aptly reads: “Together, we’re going places.”
